Friends of the Library - Mission

Friends of the Library (click for details):

The Friends of the Lake Whitney Public Library is a volunteer organization purposed to promote and to support the public library development through advocacy, acquisition, grants and other funds given to the library, with the community needs in mind.

Dues are $10.00 per year and benefits are:

  • Early bird privileges
  • Recognition for your support and contributions
  • Personal satisfaction for helping support our library
  • Opportunities to attend bi-annual meetings
  • Check out 10 books at a time
  • Extended check-out period
  • No overdue fines if books are returned within 6 weeks
